We are Supported by Burnaby Hospital Foundation
Burnaby Hospital Foundation fundraises on our behalf to help us find generous donors to support our resident and patient needs.
St. Michael’s Centre and Hospice are reliant on donors for many of our capital equipment purchases, expanded activity programs and enhancements to the facility.
All donations, no matter the amount, will go towards improving the quality of life of our residents and hospice patients, enhancing the care we can provide, and making St. Michael’s Centre a welcoming home environment.

Current Funding Needs

Lifting Hearts Campaign
Ceiling lifts are essential for ensuring the safety and comfort of both our residents and staff. These lifts assist our care team in moving residents to and from their beds and repositioning them while in bed, significantly reducing risk of injury for residents and care staff. Each ceiling lift, including the necessary tracking system, costs approximately $10,000. With your support, we can equip our facility with these vital tools, enhancing the quality of care and ensuring a safer environment for everyone. Your donation will make a meaningful impact. Help us provide the best care possible by contributing to our ceiling lift fund today.

Pulse of Care Campaign
At St. Michael’s Centre care center, we are committed to providing the best for our residents. This is why we invest in reliable blood pressure machines, each costing around $4,000. With five machines serving our care units and hospice, we ensure precise health monitoring and comfort. Support our mission to enhance resident care by contributing to this vital cause. Your support makes a significant difference.
