Activities & Programs
The Therapies Department organizes a wide variety of activities and programs each month that are both recreational and therapeutic in nature. Ranging from 1:1 to large group events, there is something for everyone.
Complex Care
St. Michael's Centre has 128 Complex Care beds on 3 Nursing Units and 2 floors. Please see the "Complex Care" page on this website for more information.
Gardens & Courtyards
The Centre has a variety of gardens and courtyards located around the facility for the enjoyment of all. They have been developed in stages through the dedicated support of numerous volunteers and generous donations via the SMC Foundation.
Hospice Unit
Our 16 bed Hospice bed is a self-contained unit located on the lower floor. Please see the "Hospice Unit" page on this website for more information.
Volunteers
We have a dedicated group of approx. 120 volunteers to assist with activities at the Centre. Our volunteers represent our community in its diversity, cultural mix and age range from teenagers to seniors.
